This April, The Barcelona EDITION’s cult nightlife venue in the city, Cabaret, is reopening as a sophisticated late-night micro-club, adding a unique layer to Barcelona’s after-dark scene. Located in the basement of the city’s favourite luxury lifestyle hotel, Cabaret offers a modern and exclusive nightlife experience on Fridays and Saturdays that magically unites exceptional service, the best in beverage, multifaceted music entertainment and authentic design, creating a new kind of revelry with a sultry twist in the heart of Spain’s creative capital.

Cementing the hotel as the city’s cultural hub and paying homage to Ian Schrager’s legendary Studio 54, music is at the heart of the Cabaret experience, with live bands, DJ line-ups, a state-of-the-art sound system, dramatic lighting and projections, transforming the space into a location of pure escapism.

Cabaret’s low lighting and opulent materials are designed for the darker hours. A dramatic cocktail bar sits at one end of the space whilst the lounge area, with its low ceiling and black velvet walls set the scene for a more intimate ambience away from the dancefloor, with guests mingling amongst the backdrop of red velvet curtains as acclaimed DJs provide energetic sounds, in a rare and intimate setting.

A newly conceived cocktail menu takes inspiration from famous European cabarets, the Barcelona of the 70’s, and the iconic Barcelona discothèque Bocaccio, similar to the iconic Studio 54. Paying homage to its roots, signature cocktails feature the likes of Studio 54, served with Gin, Cava, Hibiscus Syrup and Lemon Juice, and Bocaccio, served with Mezcal, Amaro Montenegro, Blackberry Sage Cordial and Lime Juice, available for those looking for a late-night indulgence.

On Fridays, Cabaret presents Donna’s, EDITION’s signature night. With a lively band followed by DJ sets, the evening is filled with disco, funk and house beats. The venue will play host to a variety of artists both local and international, and on occasion will feature DJs on vinyl. The the line-up includes the likes of Dam Swindle, Dimitri from Paris, Gigi McFarlane Live! and Adrian Marth, who will play the room’s state-of-the-art sound system, bringing eclectic sounds and unique influences to the late-night hotspot.

On Saturdays, Cabaret will showcase a variety of Cabaret Presents events including D.R.O.P, Reel to Reel, Jackies, R de Disco, Mainline, BreatheDeep, late-night soirees that will feature the finest electronic music by some of the most iconic local collectives.

Sunday through Thursday Cabaret is available as a unique and exclusive private events space. Hosting everything from exhibitions, junkets, product launches, social gatherings and corporate meetings or celebrations with an extraordinary twist, making Cabaret a unique destination for those looking to host events in a one-of-a-kind environment.
